Aquatic Masters Swim Club


Aquatic Masters Swim Club (referred to as AMSC thereafter) was founded by a group of swimming professionals who share a common vision of achieving excellence and high performance inthe swimming arena. Since December 2008, Aquatic Masters Swim Club has been headed by Mr Andy Voo.

AMSC offers a wide array of programs, rangingfrom Competitive Swimming, Learn-to-Swim, Survival Skill, Life Saving, Water-polo to Triathlon and Aqua Aerobic. These programs are conducted at numerous recreational pools island wide and customised to suit individual students’ needs and abilities.


AMSC Objectives:
  • Promotion of Aquatic Excellence in Singapore.
    • To promote sportsmanship and fair play and to raise swimming standards to international standards.
  • Create Opportunities for Aquatic Professionals.
    • To provide a rich and fulfilling environment in order to build a strong base of talents to excel in the international scene and build recognition for sports as a worthwhile career
  • Moving towards a Participative Community.
    • To raise and encourage community awareness and participation by providing high quality watersports entertainment.
  • Development of Youth in the Local Scene.
    • To develop and nurture young talents with an aim to excel in regional and international aquatic competitions.
AMSC Mission:
  • To nurture beginner athletes into elite sportsmen.

  • To work hand-in-hand with Singapore Sports Council to achieve excellence in sports.

  • To create greater opportunities for those who are interested in or have a talent for aquatic sports.

 
Program Aims
  • To consolidate development base by working closely with Ministry of Education and Singapore Sports Council.

  • To propel the community towards Sports for Life by assisting schools and the Sports Council in organising inter-School, inter-constituency, national meets and carnivals.

  • To develop potentials for future recruitment into the youth, junior andnational squads.

  • To conduct coaching and referee courses and continously upgrade skill sets and knowledge of existing pool of coaches and tournament officials

  • To develop and support sports programs for the less-fortunate and less-abled
